I am really sad… he was such an amazing singer and performer. He was sooooo iconic! I was shocked to hear he had died. I mean, he is the freaking KING OF POP! Anyway, did anyone else see his memorial service today? It broke my heart… and when his daughter, Paris spoke out… wow. I started crying! Anyway, I think the grandmother should definitely get the kids! What do you think? Please answer!
Thoughts on Michael Jackson!?
Okay, I am getting a bit tired of these questions -
Before the memorial happened, it was said that it would be the highest watched event ever. Highest viewings/ratings or whatever.
So now why is everyone on this yahoo!answers community asking these questions over and over?
Almost everyone in the WORLD watched the memorial – so why does everyone keep asking the SAME question?
Then, in the add more detail box – it just has their opinion on the memorial, I mean if they want other people’s opinion on it – why dont they put that in the question title?
It makes me a little mad that people are
being so … annoying?
I dont have anything against the actual question, but cant they just be a little more organized – and I mean, almost everyone watched the memorial, thats not even a question – maybe 14% of the world didnt watch it – excluding the countries with no internet, television services.
So – tell me your opinions on my little rampage up there

Also, I thought the memorial was an amazing tribute to the great king of pop, it flowed well and was one of the most emotional things I have ever seen – I am sure everyone had a tear at least.
I got real emotional when Brooke spoke, when Jermaine sang, when his brother spoke, and of course I broke down when Paris said her goodbyes.

Did you watch the Michael Jackson memorial?
Michael Jackson’s daughter spoke at his farewell ceremony today. Paris made a speech. Short, but to the point. Anyone who saw her speech live or on Yahoo! or on youtube, i can garantee you cried. I know i did.
I found her mini-speech touching. “I… I just wanted to say… Ever since I was born… Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine… And I just wanted to say I love him…”
Just think… She wasnt crying becasue a legend died,
She was crying because her father died.
All those people who went to the service to honor Michael Jackson loved him as a Preformer.
Paris loved him as her dad.
Now I know what you’re thinking. Why am I saying all this?
Because, just think. What yould you do if your daddy died?
As i am sitting here crying while writing this, i know that I would give anything to keep my daddy around. I love him.
I know Paris didnt say anything about her mom, but I would do anything to keep my mom around too.
Even though our parents aggrivate us, we love them.
They create a shelter for us, pay for our things, and most importantly, love us.
Again, as I am sitting here writing this, I am crying. The point is, we dont realize how much we love something until it is gone.
We have to love our family, friends, and people we love while they are still here in reality, not in spirit.
So I ask you, do u aggree with me?
Because I know once you have read this that you would do ANYTHING to keep your parents around. Dont hurt them, that makes their lives shorter.

Why was everyone asking Paris to “speak up” at Michael Jackson’s memorial?
I did!! I felt weird too! because im only 15 and its not like i was around for much of his music time! but his music was really apart of my life and everyone around me!
i was fine until usher sang. And once he started walk towards the casket my eyes were watering and then when he let out his cry! ahh
when Michael’s brother said some word about him towards end i was crying!
