Definitely this day is very significant in the world history, it changed lot of power calculations on the world map. This was not just another attack, this was THE attack that changed lot of things.

in 3 hours it will be December 7th. in 3 hours it will be the 16th anniversary of the day i was born. in 3 hours i will be 16 years old. in 3 hours i will have gone through the better part of my childhood, and proably the BEST part of my life. so, goodbye childhood. it was the bestest childhood ever. and just because im getting older doesnt mean i wont play in the mud, play sumo wrestling with pillows tied to me, run around climbing trees and rocks, play sports, playstation and all the other cool stuff kids can get away with without looking lame. in 3 hours i will have the expectation to mature and to be mouled into a typical, bratty teenager. well i say NO. i promise you this, little past tense kid version me, i will NOT become gross and a typicle teenager, i will not become into a steriotype.

I will lower my U.S. flag to half staff and fly the U.S. Navy flag with it to honor those American servicemen who were killed in the attack. I will honor the memory not only of those service members, but also civilians and enemy combatants who lost their lives that day, now 69 years ago. For many who were alive that day it is difficult to honor an enemy, however the passage of time makes it possible and honorable to remember that not all who die in war are heroes or villains. Heroes are remembered and villains are forgiven, along with those who were just there. Each has a special place in the bosom of God.Hello, B.C. Not all of us have flags or flag staffs, but those of us who do can lower the flags to half staff. I believe it is fair to honor the Japanese who died in the attack as well as the innocent victims–those Japanese-Americans who were interned. Many Japanese-Americans fought bravely and distinguished themselves in the European Theater of Operations. I am an American of Polish and German descent. Many Americans who fell through the war had either a Polish or a German name. Not all who died are heroes, nor are all who died victims. But it is a day to honor not only those who died at Pearl Harbor, but all who lost their lives, in or out of the military services, as a result of this attack. Although I was only six months old when Pearl Harbor is attacked, I will never forget the day or its impact on the lives of many people across the globe.
