It was obvious after the MVP responsible for an AFC Championship before their Super Bowl, that the Colts needed to replace the weakness that started when they got nailed pumping in crowd noise at the Patriots game last year. They went on to be completely mediocre and blow it against an overrated San Diego with Billy Volek taking the snaps in the playoffs. Without the crowd noise pumped in they may have no chance at a playoff spot this year, why didn’t they pick up a couple of American Idol soundoffs to make loud noises at the opposing QB, which seems to be their secret to success. I’d pick Volek because he has more recently led a game-winning drive in the playoffs. The last 3 seasons for the New England Patriots have ended with Tom Brady choking (against the Broncos, the Colts, and the Giants), and it’s a wonder that people still consider Brady a “clutch” quarterback.
