Lump on horse’s back???????

That would be the worst super bowl ever. On one hand, everytime the Colts get the ball they start talking about how “good” Peyton Manning is, how he can’t be stopped, and how great he is in commercials. On the other they have Brett Favre, the old bastard that has stained his own career in pursuit of personal glory. The announcers might be on their knees the whole day worshiping Manning and Favre, who the hell could enjoy that? Even though I’m a Packer fan, if this scenario does happen, I might be tempted to cheer for the Vikings (That means Favre retires and its all over) because if Horse Face Manning wins we have to live 5 more years with people saying he’s the best to ever play. Who would you want to win?

Anything But Colts Vs Vikings?

My horse is 4 years old and relatively well trained. He always “twitches” his lips like he is threatening to bite, but he never does. What could the problem be, and how can I get rid of it. Thanks!

How can I get rid of my horses habit of constantly “twitching” his mouth?

A few years back, we had a playstation 2 and one of our games was a baseball game that was easy for the kids to play. The game had features that you could unlock, including things like turning your players into bobble heads and horses. We had upgraded to other game systems and sold that game a couple years ago. Now we have a playstation 2 again and would like to get that game again, but we can’t remember what the name of it was. My son thinks that the name had “2004″ in it, but I was thinking it had “2000″ in it, however we could both be wrong. Does anyone have any idea what game that might have been?

Does anyone know what the name of this baseball game for ps2 is?

Firstly, i didn’t know which category to put this question in, & this seemed most suitable, so i put it in here. Anyways, i don’t know what’s the matter with me.. Lately, i’ve been feeling really down & just not like my normal self, probably noticed this around 2 months ago but didn’t think nothing of it.. but now it’s really starting to get to me.. :/ I have mood swings alot and generally it just seems like the littlest things can annoy me or make me upset.. when i wake up in the mornings, i wish i could just go back to sleep & skip school altogether. All the things i used to love like horse riding, ice skating, going out with friends, etc.. i just don’t feel like doing them anymore. I’ve basically abandoned & isolated myself from my friends so much, that they just don’t seem to want to be around me.. they’re always telling me i never seem happy anymore. I’ve been with my boyfriend for almost a year & i’ve even started snapping at him :( .. I also seem to cry alot over the littlest things.. I just don’t know what’s up with me.. help? :/

What’s the matter with me ;/?

I am almost fifteen years old and have been riding for about 6 years (English), and do not own a horse. Currently, I do chores at a lesson/boarding barn 5 days a week in exchange for riding my instructors green Arab gelding (he is an ex endurance horse, working on collection etc). I also ride one of the boarders horses, June, while they are trying to sell her (she is an Arab cross mare, meant to be a hunter pony but was not jumped well in the past and would be better suited for dressage). My parents are very supportive of my riding, but unfortunately do not have the means to get me a horse or lease or anything. I would like to show in the summer (either hunters or dressage) but with the horse I currently ride I wouldn’t be able to do much more then some walk/trot classes. My instructor has suggested that we contact June’s owners to see if they would be okay with me showing her in dressage (which would increase her value). This would be a very good opportunity, as the mare is very athletic and would show well in dressage, plus it would cost me nothing except for show fees. My only worry is that we will go to one or two shows, place well, and someone sees her and decides to buy her; then I am horseless for the rest of the show season. My parents would be okay with me buying or leasing as long as I get a part time job or something to pay for it myself, but that isn’t really in my best intrest as I have school wouldn’t get very much time to ride if I am working all the time. I am just wondering what you would do in my situation, horse wise.

What to do in this situation… ?

I don’t know how much this differs from state to state, but i’m hoping to make it to state fair this year in 4H, with a horse. i’m expecting it to be expensive, stressful, and long, but i want to hear about your experiences at state fair (if your state does it). i know its a good 7 months away, but i want to start preparing (and budgeting ;D) now. thanks!

What should I expect at fair (4H)?

My girlfriend and I have been together for 6 months. Our 6 month anniversary is on Friday. We are both 20 years old, full time college students. I was thinking of taking to this really really nice high class romantic Italian restaurant for dinner. I was thinking of making reservations and going in the night before or that same day to give them red roses to put on the dinner table. After dinner, I was thinking of making a reservation for a horse and carriage ride through Boston. I wanna do something else too, either before dinner or after the carriage ride. Any ideas? Should I write her a love note? Buy her a little gift? I’m gunna give her flowers when I pick her up. What does everyone think?

Anniversary date ideas?

I ride my 3 year old mare 5 days a week. She was good and quiet and then one evening she saw another horse coming down the hill and her heart started beating so fast I could hear it while sitting on her back. Then I was out of town for 5 days, and rode her on the 6th, she was good in my lesson but I took her on the trail and she got diarreah and really stressed out like moving a lot in the tack stall and pooing over and over again, and yesterday when another horse came up her heart started beating really loud again and she was pooing again. What is up with her? She is at a show barn with 25 other horses. She acts fine in her paddock with normal poo but gets like this when I take her out to ride her. Other than this she seems healthy, eats properly, drinks regularly, she may be teething but I don’t think that has to do with it.

What does this mean if my mare is acting like this?

Ok so i have a 7 year old appy/warmblood mix. Hes very strong in the mouth and tends to pull. I know how to make him frame up, but now it seems like when i ask him to he just resists the bit and instead of dropping his head he sticks it up in the air. (note, i’ve never asked him to frame up before, but now i’m trying to train him and he just doesnt know what to do) Is there a certain type of bit (thats not extrememly harsh) I could use on him, or do you guys have some good training tips to help me out without having to change bits?
